The West Mediterranean is particularly well served by low cost carriers. But check that flights continue through the winter at your chosen laying up port - many flights only operate in the summer.
Flights are much cheaper mid-week, and often cheaper on the 13th of the month! So it pays to be flexible. We have found reasonable deals mid-week even in July and August. It helps to be flying the wrong way!
