One day in 2014, we were beating south out of the Meganisi Channel when we found ourselves crossing tacks with a French monohull. First they pulled away, then the wind got up to a 4 to 5, and we drew level. Then the wind increased another notch, and we had a jib-sheet wrapup. By the time we were sorted, the French yacht was a mile away.
Then in September 2015, as we were leaving Monganisi, a dinghy drew alongside, and Christophe Rossignole showed me this video that he had made as we were racing neck and neck the previous year. He has kindly given permission for me to put it on my website.Home page
